Larry to moderate Capitol Hill briefing on broadband Sept. 13th, 2012
Larry will moderate a briefing for Congress on the growing importance of broadband to U.S. manufacturing companies. The event takes place from 9:15-10:15 on Sept. 13, 2012 at the Capitol Visitors Center, Room 200. The briefing is part of the National Association of Manufacturers “Shopfloor Series.”
The event is co-hosted by Reps. Brett Guthrie (R-KY) and Doris Matsui (D-CA), members of the Federal Spectrum Working Group.
Larry to appear on "This Week in Law" June 29, 2012
Larry makes a return visit to “This Week in Law” on Friday at 11 AM Pacific Time. Topics will be based on the week’s developments, but almost certain to include the furor over the U.N.’s treaty negotiations for International Telecommunications Regulations, the unraveling mobile device patent wars, and the future of video hearing held today in the House.

Larry to speak at Tech Policy Summit in Napa, CA
Larry will be a panelist at Tech Policy Summit on June 6, 2012. He’ll be talking about the successful effort to block passage earlier this year of two controversial copyright extension laws, SOPA and PIPA, and the creation of a “bitroots” movement of user-based advocacy. Larry will be attending next week’s Privacy Identity and Innovation conference in Seattle. On May 15, he will interview Andrew Keen, author of “Digital Vertigo,” and discuss privacy and social media.
